From its earliest years, the Luiseño people worked the land to develop a self-sufficient agricultural economy. Many worked in the outside communities in the apricot and citrus industries. Today, the tribe remains a strong economic force in the San Jacinto Valley. Through its casino, entertainment venue, country club and The Oaks Retreat, the tribe is sustained and contributions are made to the economic growth of the surrounding area. Annually, the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians generates millions in state and local revenue and creates thousands of jobs. This revenue also gives the Soboba community the opportunity to donate millions of dollars to local schools, charities and nonprofit organizations.
Nestled in the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains, Soboba Casino Resort is a one-stop headquarters for California gaming and entertainment. The casino features 2,000 slot machines and more than 20 table games.
