House of Our Culture

  Miiyu (mee you), the cultural center, Cham-Mix Poki (House of Our Culture) was founded by Tribal Member and Cultural Program Director, Charlene Ryan in May 2003. This was made possible though the donation of over 400 Native American books by the late Dr. Dorothy Lonewolf Miller (Blackfeet), Director of Scientific Analysis Corporation based in San Francisco , California . The LoneWolf reading room is home to a growing collection of Native American books as well as research materials focused on the Soboba and Luiseño Culture. Our collection includes an assortment of resource materials and historic photographs of Soboba as well as artifacts.
